*** Latest event details are yet to be confirmed *** Horsepower is a two day event for ridden and harnessed horses at the historic village of Ariah Park under the National Trust Heritage Festival supported by Temora Shire Council Heritage Committee. Saturday pleasure ride/drive for ridden horses and horses in harness: 20 kilometre pleasure ride or drive horses in harness commencing from Ariah Park Showground to Lake Arbortree for a picnic lunch. Sunday: Horse events for harness horses and heavy horses start at 9.00 am at the Ariah Park Showground. Market and food stalls from 10.00 am. Spectators will step back in time as they watch the light horses, ponies, shetlands and miniatures compete in show driving events and see the magnificent clydesdales compete in tradesmans turnout classes and working clydesdale classes. Watch the thrilling exciting timed precision driving events and obstathon as horses and drivers negotiate courses as speed. Rides in sulkies and wagons driven by competing members of the Australian Carriage Driving Society will be available. There will be market stalls, barbecue lunch and canteen.
