Japanese flower arranging
170 Saint Johns Road, Glebe, NSW, 2037, Australia
17th March 2018 to 20th March 2018
Design your own flower arrangement (yours to keep), using a mixture of Australian natives and timeless classics. You'll learn about the 'Ikebana', the Japanese fine art of flower arranging, from local expert Setsuko Yanagisawa, who has over 13 years of experience as a florist. Setsuko will patiently guide you through how best to combine elements to produce simple and stunning arrangements. You'll be provided with all materials, and no prior experience is required - this class is absolutely perfect for beginners, as well as those who already know a thing or two about flowers. Class sizes are intentionally kept small, to ensure that you'll get enough one on one attention. Perfect for a solo adventure, for couples, or a group activity.
