Mudgee Fine Foods Inc. (MFFI) hold cooking classes for kids during the Mudgee Farmers’ Market. The aim of the classes is for kids to have fun learning all about cooking healthy food. With an emphasis on using fresh, local, seasonal ingredients, kids will be guided to create tasty, healthy, fun dishes from scratch. Under the guidance of their Chef Rebecca Anderson the children will gather fresh ingredients from the stallholders at the Farmers’ Market. They will then continue into the kitchen for their Kids Cooking lessons which will include preparation, understanding ingredients, creating and cooking dishes then cleaning up afterwards. The final results will be presented to parents and friends – then enthusiastically devoured .
