The Koskela Gallery presents Quietly: a body of landscape works by acclaimed artist Wendy McDonald. Get your dose of contemporary Australian art with a visit to The Koskela Gallery, located at Koskela in Rosebery, Sydney's greatest design hub. Wendy McDonald paints from her property Thule Lagoon, near the Murray River in Southwest NSW. Her work draws from the ecology of the local environment, the ebb and flow of the creeks and rivers and the dramatic changes of the seasons. She is honoured to tell the story of the ephemeral floodplain and the joys of belonging to a small community, through her art. Located in a century-old warehouse in the Sydney suburb of Rosebery, Koskela is an inspiring mix of contemporary Australian-made furniture and ethically produced goods for your home and lifestyle. Also within this space is the Koskela Gallery. Specialising in emerging art for new collectors, with a new exhibition every month. Koskela is passionate about social enterprise with 1 per cent of all product sales going towards developing products with Australian Indigenous communities. Koskela is also proud to be a Certified B Corporation.
