Cross stitching is both fun and meditative- and it’s very easy to learn! This beginner’s class will cover all of the basics, and get you started on creating your very own mini cross stitch masterpiece.
Students will get an overview on essentials such as reading the design chart and separating threads, and then get started with learning good stitching techniques and helpful hints to ensure your finished work looks great.
The class fee includes a Crafty like a Fox mini kit valued at AUD27. Choose from a cute cactus design or a glow-in-the-dark ghost! Each kit contains fabric, embroidery thread, embroidery needle, mini hoop and a detailed instruction sheet. This class is perfect for total beginners – no experience necessary.
Shauna has been a mega craft nerd as far back as she can remember, but cross stitch is her greatest love! There is nothing quite like diving into piles of coloured thread and creating a cute little picture from rows of neatly crossed squares.
