Longrain Riesling Lover's Dinner
85 Commonwealth Street, Surry Hills, NSW, 2010, Australia
4th October 2017
Four wines. Four winemakers. One vineyard. Brokenwood, Nick O’Leary, Gundog Estate and Four Winds Vineyard will combine with Longrain Sydney in October, to stage an unforgettable Riesling dinner. Riesling is a perfect match for the punchy flavours of South East Asian food and the dinner on Wednesday October 4 will be no exception. Executive Chef Griff Pamment has created a menu to allow guests to explore the same fruit from the same vintage, made by four winemakers. Each wine comes to them from the beautiful Four Winds vineyard located in the cool climate Canberra district. Four Winds Vineyard’s viticulturist, John Collingwood, will provide insight into the vineyard and the vintage of 2017 and will be on hand to answer questions, along with representatives from some of the wineries. One of the three noble white varieties, Riesling is known for its unique acid profile, long ageing and the ability to brilliantly express terroir. Each ticket includes a full banquet menu and four glasses of Riesling.
