Life and art are intrinsically entwined in Lucy Culliton's paintings. An avid gardener, her own plants, garden and surrounding landscape are frequently featured, as too are the many animals that inhabit and share her home. 'Caution wet paint' invites you to be drawn into Culliton's experiences and interactions, rendered in her characteristic fast and fresh brushstrokes and vivacious colour. Multi-award winning artist Lucy Culliton was the first woman artist to be simultaneously hung in the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes in 2016. She has exhibited her paintings with Ray Hughes Gallery and King Street Gallery in Sydney and Jan Murphy Gallery in Brisbane. Her works are in a number of public collections including the Art Gallery of New South Wales, National Gallery of Australia, Queensland University Art Museum and New South Wales Parliament Collection. Further information about Lucy and her work is available at the website. Exhibition dates: 17 February to 29 April 2018. Presented in partnership with King Street Gallery. Works in this exhibition will be available for purchase.
