Cultivating Tranquility - Start by building a solid foundation. Learn how to prepare for and enter meditation with comfort and confidence. The course covers: The key principles and techniques of meditation, Physical practices which prepare the body for stillness, Ways to sit comfortably and relax, Simple ways to withdraw attention from distractions, How to develop awareness and focus. Both dynamic and static practices are included. Find a style that suits your personality and state of mind. This is the entry level in a series of three courses designed to provide a proven path to skilled meditation. At this level you will learn to make the most of a twenty minute daily practice which can confidently be taken further if you like. Learn in the supportive and peaceful environment. Take home a range of simple techniques. Be able to step back from stress and distractions and relax inside. This course can be used as Professional Development (CPD) for yoga teachers and allied health professionals.
