Official launch: Bellbird Dining and Bar

They are excited to announce the launch of Bellbird Dining and Bar within Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre. Join them on November 4 to experience the range of flavours and distinctive approach that has already started a strong word of mouth following for this uniquely situated restaurant. Their philosophy is guided by the principles of local, seasonal and accessible. Their flavours are a contemporary blend of modern influences ranging from French and Asian through to South American. Their head chef, Federico Rekowski, originally from Venezuela, is Cordon Bleu trained, supported by sous chef, Steven Pham and a professional team. On the daythey will be serving a range of canapes and small tasters along with craft beers from South West Sydney brewer Stockade Brew Co. and wines from Artemis in the Southern Highlands. Their kitchen garden will be open for a tour with full time gardener Lauren, as well as five exhibitions currently on show in their galleries. If you still have energy, stay on. They have an exhibition opening at 2pm of a new show curated by ABC radio’s Wendy Harmer and a Sydney Film Festival screening at 4pm in the main theatre.
