Are you a keen family historian? Have you collected objects and pictures while undertaking your family and local history research? What meanings have you made of these?

Come along to this interactive History Council of NSW workshop with Associate Professor Tanya Evans and local author and historian Elisabeth Edwards to discuss your work on family history, local history, memory and material culture.

Tanya will be drawing on her research with family historians over the past ten years and would love you to bring in your family Bible or a family treasure.

Elisabeth has written a book on her own family history and her most recent book on the prominent Orange Dalton family will be launched in November. Lis will share insights on her approach to research and writing.

Includes lunch and networking.
