Queen’s Baton Relay

The Queen’s Baton will spend 10 days in NSW, from 28 January to 6 February as it continues to travel around Australia in the lead-up to the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

The Queen’s Baton will reach Sydney on Saturday 3 February. It will travel through the city centre and past iconic landmarks along the Harbour Foreshore at Government House in the Royal Botanic Gardens. The baton will travel through The Rocks and Barangaroo Reserve to finish at Pirrama Park in Pyrmont for the celebration.

Details

  • 3pm: Queen’s Baton Relay starts at Government House
  • 4:30pm: Shared Celebration at Pirrama Park, Pyrmont
  • 5:30pm:  Arrival of Queen's Baton to Pirrama Park
  • 6:30pm: Event finishes.
