StoryFest celebrates the art of storytelling in all its forms. In 2019, the festival opens with a choice of creative workshops. Friday night kicks off with a panel of award-winning Australian crime writers. Criminal Minds will explore the how and why of this most popular genre. Or visitors can enjoy a meal at one of their fabulous South Coast eateries and listen to two bestselling authors of historical fiction talk about the attractions of setting stories in the past. The main festival will run across three venues on Saturday June 22, all within the Milton town precinct. Whether you love fiction, non-fiction or children's literature, join authors, film makers, and industry experts as they range across a diverse platform of storytelling. Located halfway between Sydney and Canberra, the Milton-Mollymook-Ulladulla area is a popular destination for lovers of fine food and wine, surrounded by lush rolling valleys and some of the finest surf breaks on the coast. So when not indulging in the love of storytelling, there is plenty of other distractions to make this a weekend of pure pleasure. Many of these events will sell out quickly, so make sure you get in early to secure your spot!
