The story of Modernist architecture in Australia is a story of new ideas finding distinct expression in new environments. Hear from a panel of speakers whose work and lives reflect the story of Australian Modernism through personal and professional journeys, focusing on the way Australian architects drew influence from Europe in developing a local Modernist vocabulary. Speakers include Tone Wheeler, architect and Catherine Lassen, architect and Senior Lecturer in Architecture at the University of Sydney. All tickets include entry to The Moderns: European Designers in Sydney and Marion Hall Best: Interiors exhibitions now on at Museum of Sydney.
