Shepherds Siding Road, Brucedale, NSW, 2650, Australia
No upcoming dates
Talented, passionate and approachable, Carmen Hickey will show you how to use your DSLR camera to its full capacity. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never moved off auto, or have been happily snapping away for years but now want to want to take your photography to the next level - Carmen will show you how to get the very most out of your camera. Carmen is accredited through the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) with over 10 years professional experience and in 2016 Carmen Hickey Photography was named the Australian photography business of the year. All of this aside, Carmen is a warm and engaging person with a real enthusiasm for teaching photography and a delight to be around. This workshop will cover the settings of your camera, shooting in manual mode, ISO shutter speed and aperture, composition (and story telling), understanding and manipulating light, how to edit your digital photo and how to identify what components go to making a photograph that just ‘works’. This is a practical, hands-on workshop within the lovely autumn gardens of Tambea and includes a delicious afternoon tea of both sweet and savoury treats together with refreshments throughout.
