This is an exclusive opportunity to taste the 'best of the best' food-friendly wines from the Sydney International Wine Competition, a unique wine show where the wines are judged alongside food to best replicate the consumer experience. You will be able to taste a range of renowned Champagnes and sparkling wines, along with the best of New Zealand's trophy-winning Sauvignon Blancs and Pinot Noirs and Australia's top-ranking Chardonnay, Semillon, Shiraz and Cabernet wines. In addition, award winning wines from Portugal, Argentina and Georgia – considered by many to be the birth-place of wine – will be available for tasting. An extensive range of ‘alternative’ white varieties such as Roussanne, Gruner Veltliner, Fiano and Vermentino, along with red varieties including Saperavi and Castelao, will be on exhibition providing a rare opportunity to taste some of the world's best and most exciting wine styles.
