191 Dowling Street, Dungog, NSW, 2420, Australia
19th October 2017
The Knob and Problem Creek Falls Walk starts in the vicinity of Coachwood Camping Area in the Telegherry River section of the Chichester State Forest (six kilometres, medium). Meet at the Dungog Shire Visitor Centre corner Dowling and Brown Streets, Dungog to carpool. The aim of Dungog Dawdlers Walking for Pleasure is to provide a safe, friendly and healthy walking group for locals and visitors to the area. They have walks each month in varying locations, and with varying distances. Participants should wear loose comfortable clothing and flat well cushioned shoes, wear a hat in hot weather and use a sunblock on exposed skin. Bring along a snack and drink in a lightweight back pack. Each walk is graded as very easy (suitable for wheelchairs); easy (relatively gentle grades and good surfaces which are suitable for most people); medium (includes rough or steep sections some of which may require clambering over natural obstacles); and hard (strenuous walks involving steep ascents or descents over rougher terrain which are suited to fit and experienced walkers).
