The Sydney Morning Herald Sun Run & Cole Classic
The Strand, Dee Why Beach, NSW, 2099, Australia
3rd February 2018 to 4th February 2018
Sydney’s favourite sporting and fitness weekend is back. And the locations could not be more spectacular with events staged at the city’s iconic northern beaches and coastline. The annual Sydney Morning Herald Sun Run and Cole Classic is held on consecutive days, Saturday February 3 and Sunday February 4 2018. There’s something for every fitness level and every family and community group. It all kicks off on Saturday, with two spectacular events: 7km and 10km fun runs along Manly's stunning coastline. Both of the Sun Run events start at Dee Why Surf Life Saving Club and finish beside the iconic Manly Lifesaving Club. This year will also see the introduction of a brand new hybrid event, the Aquathlon, designed to bring even more fun to the weekend's festivities. The Aquathlon will give participants the chance to challenge themselves with the 8.5km course (run and swim) on February 3. The fun doesn't stop there! Manly's refreshing ocean waters will host Sydney’s most historic and famous swim event, The Cole Classic at beautiful Shelly Beach. Entrants can participate in the 1km, 2km and 5km events, finishing the swim in front of Manly Lifesaving Club.
