Tea was originally used as a medicinal herb to treat many conditions, either on its own or blended with other ingredients. Many countries still use these age-old remedies brought up to modern day practice.

Come and explore the history and application of these tea therapies and their relevance to use in your life. Learn and taste teas, how to blend them and how you can use them to assist well-being and mindfulness. Many studies have demonstrated the therapeutic effects of tea and its direct contribution to health. Discover which teas contain the beneficial ingredients to support you.

Your host Stephen Carroll has travelled the world studying tea production and culture. He has worked in the tea industry for many years and is the co-director of Tea Guild International. Stephen holds a Certificate in Traditional Tea Medicine and Tea Therapeutics from the Puruncha Culture Institute, South Korea.
