An intimate cabaret evening with Geraldine Turner, a true icon of Australian theatre. Featuring songs and show business anecdotes in a celebration of her remarkable career. Geraldine has earned her place as one of this country’s most legendary leading ladies, winning enormous acclaim for roles in stage musicals including Anything Goes, Chicago, Oliver, Cabaret, A Little Night Music and Sweeney Todd; plays such as Steel Magnolias, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll and Don’s Party; on television, film and also through her extensive recording output. Turner’s Turn is a celebration of Geraldine’s incredible life on stage and marks her first cabaret performance in more than ten years. This intimate evening of songs from her celebrated career, peppered with amusing anecdotes and stories (and there are some great stories to tell), is a rare opportunity to see one of Australia’s most beloved leading ladies, up close and personal. Geraldine is accompanied on piano by Musical Director Brad Miller.
