8th May 2018 to 12th June 2018
Wollongong City Council's The Creative Dialogues Program presents Two Tacos and a Top Hat, a public arts and culture series featuring live conversations about art and creativity with celebrated artists who have a connection to the Illawarra. Hosted by local writer and Wollongong Writers Festival founder Chloe Higgins, the series welcomes a new artist to The Little Prince each month for tacos and insights into their creative routines and careers, and a top hat is passed around for audience questions. Commencing in April and running through to July, the public series will consist of four on-stage conversations with established artists, from a range of disciplines, who have a connection to the Illawarra. April 10: Jordan Ireland, musician, May 8: Nicci Bedson, visual artist, June 12: Warren Keelan, photographer, July 10: Jenny Briscoe-Hough, cultural activist. Attendance is free. Food and beverages available for purchase at the venue. This is an over-18s event. Supported by Wollongong City Council’s The Creative Dialogues Program, The South Coast Writers Centre, The Little Prince, Yours and Owls and Wollongong Writers Festival.
