Join Matt Abbott and Dean Sewell, from award winning documentary photography collective Oculi, for an all-day photography workshop focused on visual storytelling in regional areas.

Firmly believing that stories can be found anywhere, Matt and Dean will help photographers with any level of experience with basic techniques in developing story ideas and narratives through documentary photography. They will also be able to answer questions about photojournalism and the industry, offer a portfolio review, and provide other guidance on long term projects or narrative based visual storytelling tailored to each participant.

This workshop is being run in conjunction with Orange Regional Museum's exhibition All in a Day's Work, offering a glimpse into the working lives of Orange locals through the lens of Central Western Daily photographers between 1955 and 1974.
