Make a date in New England for Wimble’s Wayzgoose! A weekend of events, activities, workshops and programs that is a celebration of printing and printmaking at the Museum of Printing at the New England Regional Art Museum. Program: Friday April 6: 1pm - 4pm Words, text and images. A half day seminar exploring the past, present and future of printing and printmaking with special keynote speaker Thomas Middlemost, Charles Sturt University as well as presentations by artists, curators, historians and collectors. 6.00pm The inaugural F.T. Wimble lecture: Print and Passion: the impact and legacy of printed books in England. Saturday April 7: 10am – 4.30pm Inky Fingers Workshop Program. Bookings required for workshops. Sunday April 8: Printers Picnic Join with visiting artists and local artists from the Black Gully Printmakers for a day of food, wine, talks, art and music with a Bring Your Own print market/swap, talks and demonstrations and their famous Big Print event.
