Wired Open Labs: Resin Jewellery and Mould Making Workshop

Now in its third year, the 2019 Wired Open Labs workshop series continues to engage outstanding Australian artists and artisans who provide unique experiences to suit every creative appetite. Offered throughout the Eastern Riverina and South West Slopes these workshops cater to beginners through to experienced artists. In this five hour workshop you will learn: The fundamentals of silicon mould making; The art of resin casting using fast curing and slow curing resin; Creative casting techniques, using pigments and other decorative elements; and How to finish your jewellery using hand sanding and other finishing techniques. Bookings are essential with places filling fast. Each attendee will leave with a mould that can be used to create jewellery in the future, while also taking home a bangle and a ring, plus other pieces made on the day.
