$60 million for Mudgee Hospital
The NSW Government plans to invest $60 million into Mudgee District Hospital’s upgrade to expand and reconfigure inpatient and ambulatory care services.

Orange MP Andrew Gee said the funding would ensure Mudgee District Hospital remained a quality health service for the local community.
“This is fantastic news, which I’m sure will be welcomed across the region. Local patients will have the opportunity to access enhanced health services closer to home,” Mr Gee said.
“This funding will ensure Mudgee District Hospital can provide comprehensive care for the local community for generations to come.”
Mudgee District Hospital’s redevelopment joins other rural and regional hospital redevelopments across NSW, which are also attracting quality health staff to the country.
