More tech training for seniors in NSW

The NSW Government is expanding the Tech Savvy Seniors program by increasing training course locations from 71 to 104 with 31 libraries offering courses in eight languages other than English.

The expansion will deliver training to more than 15,000 seniors a year and provide an extra 3,500 places each year for the next four years.

The program is also part of the government’s partnership with Telstra to offer seniors a new Telstra Starter Bundle to help them connect to the internet in an affordable way.

The bundle is available to all NSW Senior Card holders who have previously not been connected to the internet.
