Expansion of the Thomas Foods International Pty Ltd factory will create 204 new full time jobs and inject $76 million into the region over the next five years.

The NSW Government is investing in the upgrade project as part its Regional Industries Investment Fund which offers support to projects that help create local jobs for people in regional NSW.

Minister for Regional Development John Barilaro and Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson said this project was essential to keeping the local economy strong.

“Supporting growth and business development plans of these local businesses enables the company to meet current demand, cater for additional customers and continue expanding their products,” Mr Anderson said.
