The new warehouse, designed and operated by Linfox Logistics, is expected to generate more jobs in Greater Western Sydney, which has been earmarked as a priority action area under the Government’s economic development framework.

Speaking at the launch of the new facility, Mr O’Farrell said “It’s a huge vote of confidence in Western Sydney that Australia’s largest privately owned logistics company, Linfox Logistics, has selected this region to invest in”.

“Linfox has partnered with Arnott’s Biscuits Limited to open this facility, which is now one of the Australian food icon’s key national distribution hubs.

Mr O’Farrell also spoke about recent government-led initiatives, including the extended payroll tax rebate for companies hiring retrenched workers and the $1.4 Million Supply Chain Accelerator pilot program, that have been targeted toward creating jobs in the Western Sydney region.

“We’re committed to attracting businesses such as Linfox Logistics and Arnott’s to continue investing and creating jobs in Western Sydney to grow this vibrant region, Mr O’Farrell said.
