The NSW Government has announced the launch of an aggressive push for interstate and international investment.

The NSW NOW campaign has been designed to make potential investors aware of the strengths of the state’s economy and the benefits of investing in NSW.

The campaign features billboards at Sydney Airport, and on the borders with Victoria and Queensland which read “NSW NOW: Welcome to the new state of business” as well as advertisements in some of the world’s major business publications and newspapers.

Nearly 100,000 jobs have been created in NSW since March 2011 and the state has the second lowest unemployment rate and the second strongest rate of economic growth in Australia.

NSW has retained its AAA rating credit rating, while other states have had their ratings downgraded.

Over the next four years the NSW Government will invest $61.8 billion in state infrastructure - including Australia’s two largest transport projects - the North West Rail Link and the WestConnex road link.

Through the NSW NOW campaign the Government is determined to attract more business and drive additional investment in the state, and make NSW the first choice for local and international investors.
