Opal Bus Network Update: 5 new bus routes in Sydney’s East join network

Transport for NSW are continuing to roll out the Opal electronic ticketing system on State Transit buses, with five bus routes in Sydney’s eastern suburbs to join the Opal network from Monday.

Five bus routes, 326, 327, 355, 361 and L24, will go-live with Opal over a two-week period from Monday 28 April. Customers can already use their Opal card on route 333, which was the first State Transit bus to go live with Opal as part of a customer trial.

These newly integrated services originate from the Waverley depot and carry customers between the beach, Bondi Junction and the city, and on to Marrickville.

  • Route L24 PrePay-Only - Watsons Bay - Double Bay – City*
  • Route 333 North Bondi to Circular Quay
  • Route 326 Bondi Junction - Bellevue Hill - City*
  • Route 327 Bondi Junction - Darling Point – City*
  • Route 355 Marrickville Metro - Waterloo - Bondi Junction *
  • Route 361 South Bondi - Bondi Junction*

Mount Kuring-gai Transdev bus network

  • Route 556 East Killara to Lindfield or Killara
  • Route 558 Lindfield to Chatswood via East Lindfield & Roseville
  • Route 560 Gordon to West Pymble
  • Route 562 Gordon to Macquarie University
  • Route 565 Macquarie to Chatswood via West Lindfield, Lindfield & UTS
  • Route 571 Turramurra & South Turramurra
  • Route 572 Macquarie University to Turramurra
  • Route 573 Turramurra to Fox Valley via Warrawee Valley & Sydney Adventist Hospital
  • Route 575 Hornsby to Macquarie Uni, via Wahroonga, Turramurra, West Pymble and Macquarie Centre
  • Route 576 Wahroonga to North Wahroonga
  • Route 577 Turramurra to North Turramurra or East Turramurra
  • Route 579 Pymble to East Turramurra
