The NSW Government is calling on local organisations to apply for funding that will help them host events during the NSW Seniors Festival in February 2019.

Three funding categories are available:

  • Category 1: Up to $1000 for small-scale local events and activities.
  • Category 2: $1,001 – $5000 larger local events community events and activities.
  • Category 3 (for local government organisations only): $5,001 – $10,000 for large-scale community and regional events and activities.

Minister for Ageing Tanya Davies said the grants will help organisations bring a broad range of activities to the festival.

“We want our seniors to thrive by staying connected in their communities, regardless of age or stage of life, and time and time again this festival proves there’s no age limit on fun,” Mrs Davies said.

“Local events and activities play a significant role in the festival to provide opportunities for older people to not only enjoy entertainment, but get involved and share their talents with their community.”

Applications close at 5pm on Friday 10 August 2018.
