Each Wednesday night over summer, Sydneysiders and visitors can enjoy top exhibitions and art events, with the launch of Culture Up Late.

The NSW Government’s Arts and Culture Advisory Committee initiative will offer a new time to appreciate the fantastic offering of Sydney arts and cultural institutions.

Minister for the Arts Troy Grant said Sydney by night and day was the place to be as a unique arts and entertainment destination for locals and tourists alike.

“Whether its 400 spiders at the Australian Museum, ancient mummies or twilight tours of the Southern Sky at the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, this
summer offers a weekly opportunity to experience each of these novel exhibitions,” Mr Grant said.

The Museum of Contemporary Art is staging the installations of contemporary Japanese artist, Tatsuo Miyajima and Carriageworks and the Sydney Opera House showcasing the Sydney Festival.
