Tourism operators invited to apply for $7.2m in funding

The 2015-16 Regional Visitor Economy Fund (RVEF) invites Industry, local government and regional tourism organisations to apply for a share of $7.2 million in funding.

The RVEF is managed and administered by Destination NSW, it supports investment in the regional New South Wales visitor economy on a matched dollar–for–dollar basis.

There are two funds available which interested applicants can apply for:

  • The Contestable Pool of Funds – open to a range of applicants, it includes funding for regional NSW marketing and product development activities. 
  • The Quarantined Funds – open to regional tourism organisations.

The RVEF gives applicants the chance to receive between $50,000 and $500,000 for marketing projects and up to $150,000 in funding for product development projects or a mixture of both.

Applications can be submitted via the online form.

Application closing dates

  • Contestable Pool of Funds: close Friday 12 June 2015.
  • Quarantined Fund: close Monday 30 November 2015.
