The 2018 NSW Women of the Year Awards finalists have been announced.

2017 NSW Women of the Year

The annual awards celebrate and recognise the outstanding contribution made by women across NSW to industry, communities and society.

Youth advocates, entrepreneurs and a drone pilot are among the 28 women selected as finalists for the 2018 awards.

The following award categories are now open to the public for online voting:

  • Community Hero Award
  • Harvey Norman Young Woman of the Year Award
  • Rex Airlines Regional Woman of the Year Award
  • NSW Business Woman of the Year Award
  • First State Super Lifetime Achievement Award.

Minister for Women Tanya Davies congratulated the 2018 finalists.

“A huge congratulation to each of the remarkable women nominated this year, who are without a doubt worthy contenders for these prestigious awards,” Mrs Davies said.

“I urge NSW residents to read the finalists’ stories online, learn about their incredible achievements and show support by casting a vote.”

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Sydney on 8 March 2018, International Women’s Day.
