Western Sydney's racing and entertainment precinct opens
The Inglis Riverside Stables complex at Warwick Farm includes:
- 823 stables
- a 144-room William Inglis Sofitel Hotel with suites named after champion race horses
- restaurants and cafes
- a unique ringside bar where people can dine and inspect the thoroughbreds.
Minister for Western Sydney Stuart Ayres said the region is becoming a new hub for the equine industry.
“Inglis Riverside Stables directly employs 150 full time staff, which will double during the sale season. It will support a wide range of local small businesses - from produce suppliers to event hire companies and photographers,” Mr Ayres said.
