The ClubGRANTS Category 3 program provides up to 25 projects with grants of $100,00 to $300,000 for new and upgraded infrastructure.
Deputy Premier and Minister for the Arts Troy Grant said the funding will help ensure people have access to art and culture no matter where they live.
“Particular emphasis will be given to projects that support disadvantaged and regional and remote communities, as they often struggle to attract this level of funding”, Mr Grant said.
Projects eligible for funding include construction, alteration, renovation, completion or fitting out of buildings for arts and cultural use.
Organisations should submit an expression of interest by 5pm, Friday 18 March 2016.
Projects selected for funding must commence on or after 30 September 2016 and be completed by 30 September 2018.
