New PCYC for the Southern Highlands
The NSW Government is contributing $250,000 towards its construction, as part of a $20.25 million program to build and revitalise PCYCs across the State.
Minister for Police and Emergency Services Stuart Ayres said the club will provide outreach services and recreational activities for young people across the Wingecarribee and Wollondilly Local Government Areas.
“PCYCs provide an integral role in our communities when it comes to getting young people active”, Mr Ayres said.
Two sworn police officers will be based at the club to assist with youth crime prevention and youth support programs.
