Gosford’s Smart Work Hub is part of a $1.5 million NSW Smart Work Hub Pilot Program. A Hub in Wyong is already in operation.

It has the potential to save several hours of commuting time for local workers each day.

Minister for Industry, Resources and Energy Anthony Roberts said about 40,000 residents commute from the Central Coast region each day for work.

“By locating Smart Work Hubs in areas with large commuter populations, like the Central Coast and Western Sydney, we can take advantage of technology to support smart working practices,” Mr Roberts said.

The Gosford Smart Work Hub is owned and operated by Gosford City Council and offers high-speed broadband services and on-site facilities including Wi-Fi, video conferencing, meeting spaces and kitchen facilities.
