We are a statutory authority created under the Casino Control Act 1992. The Independent Casino Commission (NICC) was set up to address the risks and harms arising from casino operations through increased regulatory oversight. 

The NICC will play a vital role in rebuilding public trust in the NSW casino industry through visible and robust supervision.
