Why are we collecting your personal information?
The NSW Government Brand, Advertising & Engagement team within the Department of Customer Service (DCS), is collecting your personal information through forms hosted on the NSW Government Brand, Advertising & Engagement Service Hub (the Hub). The purpose of the collection is to ensure we can receive, track, manage and respond to enquiries and requests related to our service offering.
What personal information do we collect?
We may collect the following information from you:
- Your first and last name and contact details (email and phone number).
- Details of your role and agency.
- Any additional personal information you provide in relation to your enquiry.
How will we use and disclose this information?
We will use the personal information we collect from you to provide a response to your enquiry, including:
- Contacting you in relation to your enquiry or request.
- Recording communications with you in the Hub.
- Other purposes which are directly related to your enquiry or request
To provide a response to some enquiries, we may be required to share some of your information with contracted partners of the NSW Government Brand, Advertising and Engagement team. This may include Omnicom Media Group (OMG), Deloitte, Mighty Hive and Media Marketing Compliance.
We may also share your personal information with third party providers that provide us with technical support functions, including for the operation of the NSW Government Brand Toolbox or NSW GovComms Learning Hub.
We will not disclose this information to any other party, unless you provide your consent, or we are required or authorised to do so by law.
Are you required by law to provide us with this information?
Providing us with the requested information is not required by law. However, if you choose not to provide us with the requested information, we may not be able to provide a response to your enquiry.
