What we are doing
Toll relief provides free 12-month or half-price registration to eligible vehicle owners.
Drivers who spent $1300 or more on tolls in the previous financial year (an average of $25 a week) can claim free registration.
From 1 July 2019, drivers who spent $780 or more during the previous financial year (an average of $15 a week), can claim half-price registration.
Total toll spend is calculated on all eligible vehicles that are linked to one toll account.
How we are tracking
So more drivers can benefit from the new lower toll relief qualifying spend ($780), the NSW Government has backdated the toll spend from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019.
