Resources for Regions Round Five and Six Process Evaluation

Rounds five and six of Resources for Regions (R4R) successfully distributed $54 million to support economic and social infrastructure to mining-affected communities in NSW through a two-step competitive grants process.

This Process Evaluation assesses the efficiency and effectiveness of program activities relating to the program design, application and assessment processes. The evaluation found that program information was generally well communicated to applicants, and communication improved from Round five to Round six. Applicants were kept up to date with the progress of their applications and provided with feedback. Funding decisions were undertaken in line with the eligibility and assessment criteria.
