- 2 cups cherries, pitted and halved
- ¼ cup (60ml) water
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- Place all ingredients in saucepan on medium heat.
- Bring to boil and allow to boil for 5 minutes or until cherries are soft. Allow mixture to cool a little then place mixture into food processor and blend to a puree.
- Serve warm over vanilla ice-cream.
This recipe makes enough coulis to top around 4 serves of ice-cream.
