The NSW Government established the Newcastle Port Community Contribution Fund to support community projects around the Port of Newcastle.

Grants are provided for projects that benefit the environment, public domain, infrastructure, heritage restoration, activation, smart technology, or community.

The NPCC Fund is a competitive, merit-based program. Recommendations on projects to be funded are made by the NPCC Fund Evaluation Panel and relayed to the Deputy Premier for final approval.
