Our regional NSW

Supportive communities, shorter commutes and more time with loved ones – these are just some of the reasons people love living in regional NSW.

People who move to regional NSW often say they enjoy everything they loved about city living, plus a whole lot more. Regional living can bring the opportunity to own your own home, having more time for yourself, family and friends, and being part of a close community.

The NSW Government is investing record amounts of money into regional communities through the $1.6 billion Regional Growth Fund, and across regional NSW with more than $4.2 billion from the Snowy Hydro Legacy Fund. These investments, together with an ongoing focus on further developing access to essential services across the state, are what make regional NSW a great place to live, work, play and thrive.
