$100 million to strengthen arts and culture in Regional NSW.

The NSW Government’s Regional Cultural Fund supports the development of cultural infrastructure to deliver educational, recreational and tourism benefits to local communities.

The $100 million Regional Cultural Fund has delivered 143 projects to boost community participation and cultural tourism, ranging from major new exhibition and performing arts spaces, refurbishment of libraries, theatres and museums through to small, grass-roots community and digitisation projects.

Lake Macquarie art gallery hall showing colourful artworks
The Lake Macquarie Art Gallery received funding to revamp the gallery, extend the collection room and make overall a more sustainable operation.
Holtermann gallery showing touchscreen with old photographs
Located in Gulgong, this gallery provides a snapshot to the past through the Holtermann collection of photographs. Funding allowed new technology and lighting to be installed, enhancing the displays.

The Shearer's Hall of Fame - Shear Outback is located in Hay and received funding which allowed the museum to install solar panels, helping to reduce running costs.
Yarrawarra aboriginal art gallery
This gallery represents over 40 regional artists and received funding for solar panels, water tanks and air conditioning to preserve their fragile collection of artworks.
