Russell is passionate about supporting the inclusion, participation and the voice of young people in rural and regional communities. With the understanding that communities thrive when they are connected, he believes young people are a crucial piece of the puzzle in achieving social cohesion. Russell holds a Bachelor of Youth Work and has worked as a Youth Development Officer in local government settings for the last 12 years.
