The Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority will use the information you provide to determine if you need a safety management plan approved by them, as a condition to holding your festival.

You are providing this personal information so that Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority can decide whether your festival requires a SMP. Your information will be reviewed by the Music festivals team and will be shared with the Health Secretary and the Commissioner of Police to obtain their advice in line section 5 of the Music Festivals Act 2019 (‘MFA’).

This information will only be used for determining if a safety management plan is required by Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority for your festival, and for directly related actions arising from that request.  You are providing the information contained in this form voluntarily. If you choose not to provide the requested information, ILGA may still determine that your festival needs an approved SMP. It is an offence under section 7 of the MFA to hold a subject festival without an approved SMP.  

Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority will not disclose your personal information to anybody else unless required or authorised by law, such as by court order. 

Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority will store and protect your personal information until the enquiry or purpose of contact has concluded. Subject to any other legal requirements regarding information retention, your information will be retained for 10 days.
