About this location
the CORRIDOR project is a not-for-profit multidisciplinary arts organisation providing a platform for residency, education, cultural pursuits and/or research, where alternative methodologies can be explored and developed.
The CORRIDOR project acknowledges First Nation people across Australia and their continued connection to their lands, waters and culture. Our organisation is situated within the traditional lands of the Wiradjuri nation. We respect Elders past and present and the roles that Aboriginal artists play in contributing to their culture.
The CORRIDOR project annual program links arts, culture and science, through consultancy, residencies, events and workshops.
The CORRIDOR project provides a platform for education, cultural pursuits and/or research, where alternative methodologies can be explored and developed, in a constantly evolving environment. The name CORRIDOR was chosen to suggest both the corridors of learning and environmental corridors.
The CORRIDOR project provides a regional space for the creative industries, education, environmental and scientific initiatives. The CORRIDOR project infrastructure has been adapted to accommodate for studio spaces and long-term stays, based on the concept of relocating scientists, artists, and students from their typical environs to examine projects from different perspectives in a dynamic seasonal environment. The CORRIDOR project is a "stepping-off point" for exploration providing a platform for multidisciplinary engagement.
