The Long Paddock Touring Route

The Long Paddock Touring Route follows the still-operational stock route along the Cobb Highway from Echuca Moama on the NSW-Victorian border to Wilcannia and on towards iconic Outback NSW towns such as Bourke, Broken Hill and White Cliffs. The latest artwork to join the alfresco gallery is ‘Re-Utilise’, a ute in Deniliquin made of found metal objects from farms Stop at heritage pubs where the locals will yarn to you all day, discover local artisans and Indigenous art at open studios, and taste fabulous local produce at markets, cafes and unpretentious country stores. As you cross the Darling, Lachlan, Edward, Murrumbidgee or Murray rivers, take the time to throw a line – this is top-notch fishing territory, too.
