Neeld's Hut, located in Cooinda Reserve at Wyalong, is a carefully reconstructed replica of the original hut built by George Neeld and his family in the late 1800s. The site offers visitors an insight into early settler life and the formative days of the Wyalong goldfields, highlighting the challenges and determination of those who shaped the region. Beside the hut, the Neeld Lifesize Sculptures bring history to life, portraying the Neeld family in realistic detail and celebrating their pioneering role in the area's development. Together with informative interpretive panels, the hut and sculptures create an engaging and educational experience, telling a compelling story of resilience, hard work and early settlement in the Bland region.
